What is fractional marketing? 

Fractional marketing provides high-level marketing support for your organization for a fraction of the cost of a full time employee. Simply, our team serves as a marketing department meaning you have a team of experienced marketing professionals developing and implementing your organization’s marketing strategy without the overhead of a staff position. 


Through this approach, our team manages the overall strategic marketing plan, content creation and storytelling, graphic design, social media strategy and implementation, paid media, email campaigns, and website management and SEO, among much more. In addition, as an agency specializing in mission-based organization, we are able to provide leadership and support for marketing-driven fundraising campaigns.  


The key to fractional marketing is the experience level you gain with the services. It is easy to hire a college intern or assign someone on your staff to manage social media or send the monthly newsletter. However, for growing nonprofits, an experienced fractional marketing team can ensure your communication channels are working for your organization and not become a necessary annoyance on someone’s long to-do list. 


Is fractional marketing right for every organization? 

Just like a large marketing department isn’t right for every organization, fractional marketing support doesn’t fit every nonprofit. We structure our fractional services cost based on how many hours of support we provide each month. For example, for clients who may only need support with social media and an email newsletter, we might provide 10-15 hours of support within the month. 


Our fractional marketing services start at $1500 per month. From a client time investment, we request two meetings each month with our fractional clients—a 30 minute check-in meeting with our main point of contact and a 1-hour strategy meeting with any positions within the organization that may have a stake in marketing. Additional email updates occur on an ongoing basis throughout the month.
